Situated in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City near the historic Rio Grande Train Station, this Homewood Suites design reflects its rich historical location.

The challenge of this project was to create a guest experience that evokes the character of an art gallery while providing each guest with the hotel amenities they appreciate and seek out. The DAI design team gave a fresh modern voice to the Hilton Brand standards, blending the romance and excitement of artwork and the fixtures on display through the vibrant color pallet.

Welcoming guests to a unique destination, the design also showcases Utah’s rich history: “Beehive State” hints of hexagon shapes are repeated throughout the property. A seagull mural represents the state bird, and flowing “red Utah sky” sculpture overwatches the lobby

Focusing on the local beauty of the historic Rio Grande Train Station area, this guest room design incorporates clean lines and contemporary design while highlighting this scenic destination. The DAI design team kept the importance of comfort, beauty, and adventure all while holding true to the comforts of the Homewood Suites brand.
